Undergraduate Degree from an Accredited Institution

Students from all academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. In fact, the program seeks to have a student body that is as diverse as possible, academically and culturally. Students should have an aptitude for technical work, but a degree in business, computer science, or a technical field is not required.

Introductory Course in Java

The course should include introductory programming concepts and Java syntax. A student who has taken courses in an object-oriented computer programming language and has had the equivalent of at least one year programming experience in that language can petition the Internet Technology faculty to waive this requirement. An introductory course in Java is a prerequisite for the programming courses in the program, and therefore must be completed before starting courses in the program.
