Student Perspectives: Amber Rhea, Master of Internet Technology 2003
"There were people from so many different backgrounds...we all learned from each other, and that's a huge part of what made it such a great experience for me."
"The [Master of IT] Program was an excellent balance of business and technical instruction. I knew that I wanted to pursue a technical career, but I wanted to balance my tech skills with some solid business know-how as well. I really feel that the [Master of IT] Program has prepared me to go in lots of different directions, and has provided a well-rounded experience that isn't offered by other programs."

On the faculty
"The faculty were awesome! What more is there to say? They're really committed to making sure everyone "gets their money's worth" as the saying goes, and put the students' success and satisfaction first."
On her classmates
"Our class became a very close-knit group right from the start. We had lots of all-night study sessions, but we also had plenty of parties and fun together! There were people from so many different backgrounds -- different educational backgrounds, different work experience, different cultures...we all learned from each other, and that's a huge part of what made it such a great experience for me."
On networking connections
"Through the [Master of IT] Program I've formed an intricate network of friends and colleagues. I had many opportunities to meet and interact with people with whom I otherwise might not have had contact."
