   Admissions < Prospective Students
 
We are currently accepting applications for the class that begins in the fall, 2006 semester. All required application materials, including transcripts, letters of recommendation, GRE or GMAT score, supplemental application and resume' must be received before the application can be processed and an admission decision made. The GRE or GMAT may be taken after the application is submitted but must be received before the application can be reviewed and an admission decision made. Deadlines for application are February 1, April 1 and July 1. Applications that are complete by these dates will be reviewed and admission decisions will be made within three weeks of each deadline.
 
Admission to the Master of IT Program is competitive. Applications are reviewed and decisions are made based on all required elements in the application process. Prospective students who meet all the Prerequisites may apply for admission by submitting the following:

Please read the instructions below carefully before proceeding. Applicants must send some materials to The Graduate School and also some materials to the Master of IT Program. Any questions regarding admissions to the program can be e-mailed to mit@uga.edu.
 
International applicants must submit additional application materials to The Graduate School. Please read the International Applicants section for more detail.

Graduate School's Application
Application for admission to The Graduate School may be submitted via online (by creating an account) or through mail. Please see The Graduate School's website for specific instructions about completing an application.
 
Application Fee
There is a non-refundable $50 USD application fee.
 
GRE/GMAT Score
The Master of IT Admissions Committee strongly encourages applicants to take the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE), but if an applicant has already taken the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), the GMAT score can be submitted instead. Regardless, official test scores must be sent directly from the testing agency. (The University of Georgia's ETS code is 5813.)
 
Set of 2 Transcripts
Applicants must submit a set of 2 official transcripts from each college or university they have attended. The Graduate School provides applicants with Transcripts Request Forms. Please note that the transcripts should be sent to the Graduate School, not the MIT Program.

Supplemental Application
In addition to The Graduate School's application, all applicants must complete and submit the Master of IT's Supplemental Application. Applicants may download this application in either a Text Document (1.54KB .txt) or Word Document (8.50KB .doc) format. Once completed, the Supplemental Applications should be attached to an e-mail and sent to mit@uga.edu with subject "Supplemental Application".
 
Resumé
The most recently updated copy of the applicant's resumé may be e-mailed to mit@uga.edu.
 
2 Letters of Recommendation
Two letters of recommendation must be submitted. Please use the Letter of Recommendation form provided by The Graduate School. The completed letters should be mailed (by your references) to the address listed below:
